Sander International and China Railway Construction win bid for Changchun Sixth Waterworks Project


A joint venture of Sanda International and China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation) won the bid for the Changchun Sixth Waterworks Project in Jilin Province. The project is designed to have a long-term water supply capacity of 500,000 cubic meters per day and a short-term capacity of 250,000 cubic meters per day. With a total investment of approximately 2.035 billion yuan, the project will be constructed by Sanda International using a Build-Transfer (BT) model. Construction is planned to start in 2013 and is expected to be completed in 2015.
