Shaanxi Province releases a construction plan for sewage treatment and reuse facilities
Shaanxi Province has issued the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for the Construction of Urban Sewage Treatment and Reuse Facilities. According to the plan, during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, Shaanxi Province will add 2.544 million cubic meters/day of sewage treatment capacity, upgrade and transform 812,000 cubic meters/day of sewage treatment capacity, add 10,368 kilometers of sewage pipelines, and add 1.63 million cubic meters of sewage reuse facilities. By the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, the urban sewage treatment rate in Shaanxi Province will reach an average of over 75%, with Xi'an urban area achieving complete sewage collection and treatment, other cities reaching 85%, all counties having centralized sewage treatment capacity, county-level sewage treatment rate reaching an average of 80%, and the sewage treatment rate of 31 provincial-level demonstration towns reaching an average of 50%.
