Seven wastewater treatment plants will be built in Zaoyang, Hubei.

Zaoyang City plans to build a sewage treatment plant in each of the seven towns of Wudian, Xinglong, Taiping, Yangdang, Loutou, Qifang, and Jubawan, where the urban population size reaches more than 30,000. Currently, experts have been hired to conduct feasibility studies and planning design for the seven planned sewage treatment plants, and the project approval for the sewage treatment plants has been applied for. Among them, the Wudian Town sewage treatment plant has a planned investment of 40 million yuan for the plant area, with a national subsidy of 34.32 million yuan and a local matching fund of 12.88 million yuan.
