  The rotary thickening and dewatering integrated machine is suitable for sludge dewatering in the post-treatment process of wastewater treatment plants, waterworks, and wastewater from papermaking, printing and dyeing, leather, chemical, slaughtering, pharmaceutical, electroplating, metallurgy, building materials, brewing, and food industries.

Working Principle
  1. Before entering the rotary drum thickening and belt dewatering integrated machine, the sludge is mixed with a polymer flocculant in a mixing reaction tank through a flocculant preparation and addition system.
  2. In the mixing reaction tank, the sludge and polymer flocculant are thoroughly mixed by stirring. The sludge rapidly aggregates from fine particles into large particles, forming large floccules with a network structure. Then, it enters the slowly rotating pre-dewatering drum. During the process of the sludge being transported to the end of the drum by a special device, most of the free water is released through the filter cloth, achieving a thickening effect. The effluent is collected by the filter tank and separated from the solid sludge.
  3. The pre-dewatered sludge slides down the inclined plate to the upper filter belt of the belt filter press, and then is transported to the lower filter belt. Between the upper and lower filter belts, due to the gradual increase in pressure and shear force, the sludge is further dewatered before being discharged. The dewatered sludge is discharged from the machine, forming a mud cake, which is transported by a conveyor to the sludge storage area.
